A sunrise hike on Torc mountain is being organised for Sunday next, October 6, by the Killarney for Palestine support group.
Those wishing to join in are invited to meet at the Upper Torc car park at 6.30am.
The organisers say the hike will reflect on the 12 months that have just been witnessed where an estimated 41,000 lives were brutally taken.
“This is an opportunity to come together as a community and remember all those suffering in Palestine and Lebanon,” they said.
The organisers said Sunday’s event will be family and dog friendly.
The Killarney for Palestine group holds regular vigils in solidarity with Palestine in Killarney town centre.
