A CALL has gone out to budding actors willing to volunteer their services for the launch of the Wander Wild festival which will take place in Killarney on 25-27 March.

Initially scheduled for launch in the spring of 2019, but postponed due to the pandemic, the inaugural festival will be a fast-paced celebration of Killarney’s great outdoors.

To gather promotional material for the big event, the organisers have planned two days of video to be filmed next Monday and Tuesday, January 10/11, at various outdoor locations and they are seeking men and or women, aged between 20 and 40, to volunteer about two hours of their time to take part.

Volunteers will be required to participate in an activity that will feature in the festival and those involved promise that it will be more fun than work.

Those interested in helping who are up for a laugh are asked to text their details Paul on 087-6860483 to volunteer.

The Wander Wild festival promises a weekend packed with unique experiences in some of the most amazing natural settings anywhere in the world, from climbing Ireland’s highest peak to immersive kayak tours to Innisfallen Island and everything in between.

Wander Wild is about inspirational experiences that can be enjoyed in and around 25,000 acres of UNESCO National Park and it will feature inspirational guest speakers and a fabulous local food experience.
