MOTORISTS have been advised to try to avoid Farranfore village this Friday following yet another break in the water main.
A Kerry County Council repair crew is working to repair the damage and it is causing delayes.
Drivers travelling between Killarney and Tralee are advised to take alternative routes if possible.
The break has occurred at the junction linking the N22 and the N23, near the railway crossing.
The council said every effort was made to have the road re-opened as quickly as possible.
The break is affecting the water supply in the greater Scartaglin, Cordal, Currans, Currow, Farranfore, Ballymacelligott, Firies, Castlemaine and Milltown areas.
