Ben sings out for the Kingdom

Ben Quinlan hits the high notes for the Kerry team.

AND so it begins: The first Kerry All-Ireland song has hit the airwaves.

Talented Killarney performer Ben Quinlan has penned and recorded a lively track titled Sam for the Kingdom and it can be heard and enjoyed on @BenQuinlanMusic: https://m.soundcloud.com/user-78754348/sam-for-the-kingdom-kerry-v-dublin-2019

No stranger to the limelight, Ben hit the headlines in 2014 when he appeared on the smash hit UK talent search series X-Factor and struck up an instant rapport with none other than Cheryl Cole before he made it to the Boot Camp eliminators.

He also submitted a song for the Eurovision Song Contest and he has released a number of singles over the past three years.

Ben’s All-Ireland number is livelier that previous songs that supported the Kingdom, with a real pop vibe and it is likely to be heard quite a bit between now and September 1.

The four-track recording also features an instrumental version of the song as well as Ben’s distinctive voice with old favourites Dingle Bay and The Hills of Kerry.
