Bumper crowd expected for Dylan’s memorial tournament

A memorial football tournament to pay tribute to a popular local boy who passed away at a young age, will make a welcome return next weekend.

The popular Dylan Crowley memorial event, hosted by Gneeveguilla GAA club, is for players in the under-11 age group.

A bumper crowd is anticipated at the Paddy O’Leary Memorial Park, Gneeveguilla. next Saturday, June 14,  and organisers have promised a wonderful day out for everybody.

Teams will take part from Firies, Kilcummin, Rathmore, Legion, Listry, Kenmare, Glenflesk, Currow, Scartaglin, Cordal, Fossa and Gneeveguilla and the games will start at 10.00m sharp with the finals at 3.00pm.

Refreshments will be served on the day and everybody is welcome to pop in for a cup of tea and a chat.

“As always, a great day of fun and football is promised while remembering a very special young man, Dylan Crowley,” the organisers said.
