IT was a very special landmark when the Kerry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre, celebrated its 27th anniversary this week.
Directors and staff marked the occasion with a little celebration at the centre in Greenview Terrace, Tralee.
The service was established in 1992 to provide a professional, confidential and free counselling service to female and male survivors.
And the icing on the cake was provided when the centre chosen as one of the main beneficiaries of the annual Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle, which will be held on Saturday, July 6.
