A PROGRESSIVE Killarney company is celebrating a big success at the annual Irish Accountancy Awards which measure the best elements of accountancy practices throughout the country.

ORM Accountants Ltd, located at Fleming’s Lane, off High Street, scooped the second place award in the advisory team of the year in the small to medium business category despite stiff opposition from practices in several counties.

The awards ceremony was due to be held in the Clayton Hotel in Dublin but, due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, a virtual ceremony was organised.

Managing director John Mannix said it was “an absolute honour” to be shortlisted but an even greater honour to be announced as the award recipient.

“We are thrilled with the industry recognition of our expertise and service and we are extremely proud of the working partnerships we have created with our clients,” he said.

“As advisors, we believe we have the power to make a profound difference to our clients’ lives by engaging with them to create a roadmap for their business and family lives.

“We do this by assisting our clients in setting realistic but ambitious specific financial and non-financial goals that will help them get to where they want to be,” John added.
