Killarney schools joined forces in some style when they organised a crazy hair day to raise awareness and generate acceptance of autism and neurodivgence as part of Autism Awareness Month.
The aim is to create small, positive changes to the way people see and interact with neorodiverse people and the intention is to promote acceptance and inclusion in schools and communities.
Autism Awareness encourages people to value different ways of thinking, learning and experiencing the world.
The range of creative hair styles on the day had to be seen to be believed and they ranged from funky up-dos to cupcake hair and rainbow braids.
