Daniel won at the last hole to complete a club and county matchplay double after he had beaten Noel Moynihan in the semi-finals while John had beaten Seán O’Brien in the other semi-final.

In the plate, Bobby Kelly made it a father and son double after he beat Hugh O’Sullivan in the decider.

On Sunday at the under 16 event Brian O’Leary beat Ryan Moloney in the championship final while Noah Sexton won the plate against Ben Kelliher.

Special mention to Cathal Sugrue for registering a hole-in-one on the 17th, his first in game. Both Nathan Cronin and Brian McCarthy were the beaten semi- finalists in the championship event.
