HERE’S something that will excite Kerry fans – and give some Dublin players something new to try to rip and tear.
The Kerry GAA has just unveiled its new alternative jersey which will replace the popular gold strip, designed by Paul Galvin and launched in February 2018.
The new shirt is based on the traditional marine blue of Munster but it comes with a lime coloured green round-neck collar, shoulders and cuff with splashes of lime throughout.
It was unveiled at the Kerry GAA Store in Killarney Outlet Centre this Valentine’s Day and hotshots David Clifford and Sean O’Shea were the perfect models
The football and hurling alternative jersey is described as having a “high-performance cooling fabric”.
Really similar to the jersey worn by Mayo in the National League final last season, the price of the new Kerry jersey in adult sizes is €70 with children’s ranging from €45 to €60.
A new alternative goalkeeper jersey has also been unveiled, coming in lime green with a marine blue trim.
The promotion tagline chosen to market the new strip is Play like a King.
