An entertainment treat Killarney is sharing with Tralee

A SPECTACULAR traditional music, song and dance show, which has been enthralling guests and locals in Killarney for the past eight years, has just expanded to Tralee with performances in both towns to run concurrently for the 2019 season.

Celtic Steps is back for the summer season six nights a week at Killarney Racecourse and it will now also run nightly at the Brandon Hotel in Tralee.

The line-up features the brilliant O’Neill Sisters, Fiona Eve and Naomi, from Causeway

David Rea, who spearheads the show with his business partner Sean Murphy, remarked: “We are creating 21 new jobs to bring our total workforce to just over 60 people and these are very exciting times.”

Over 600 people packed the premiere night at the Brandon and the performers were afforded a standing ovation at the close.

Celtic Steps was born from an idea to showcase Ireland’s culture and portray the music and songs of Ireland’s history. It brings together the raw talent of popular Irish dance with the authenticity of traditional Irish music.

The show aims to provide a magical evening for its guests, taking them on a journey through the nation’s colourful past and history to present day Ireland through the language of music, song and, of course, traditional dance.

This year the Killarney show will again be staged in the theatre at Killarney Racecourse which offers a fabulous panoramic setting to impress guests even further.
