FAI coaches will pass on skills at soccer camps

Brian Spillane, FAI accredited head coach for the summer camps

KILLARNEY Celtic FC has announced details of two summer soccer camps which will commence on July 5 and July 19 respectively.

Both camps will be run by the club’s FAI accredited coaches who will have all completed garda vetting procedures and attended child safeguarding courses.

The club is expecting big interest in the camps this year and head coach, Brian Spillane, said children will be eager to get out playing having spent such a long time this year with little or no outdoor sporting activity.

Both events will operate over five days and are keenly priced at €65 with additional siblings discounted to €60.

Each child will receive a branded and summer camp crested training top together with a quality ball of their very own to take away. All participants will learn the skills involved in the game in a fun and friendly atmosphere whilst availing of the best facilities in Kerry at Celtic Park.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming new and past participants to our camps this year,” Brian said.

“Camps are open to all boys and girls of all abilities between the ages of four and 13. Previous experience of football is not necessary and no club membership is required.

All camps will be fully inclusive and will be operated in line with all Covid-19 and FAI protocols in place as well as government and HSE guidelines.

Booking is available now through the Clubforce app or on line at www.Clubforce.com. A QR code is available for scanning that will go directly to the booking page.
