Fan fever as Kerry gets behind All-Ireland finalists

Armagh celebrations might continue long into the week – maybe even until Christmas and beyond – but this week it’s Kerry’s turn to enjoy a dose of big match fever as the county prepares to meet Galway in next Sunday’s All-Ireland LHGFA final in Croke Park (4.15pm).

Kerry GAA legend, Colm Cooper, with his son Conall, and his niece, Kerry ladies footballer, Ciara Murphy, at Fitzgerald Stadium, for the meet and greet on Sunday afternoon.

Darragh Long and Declan Quill have their charges primed and ready to represent the green and gold with pride on the greatest stage of all.

Kerry have been training hard and making their final preparations ahead of the big game and hopes are high that a bumper crowd will travel to the capital to cheer on the girls.

If Sunday’s open day at Fitzgerald Stadium is anything to judge from, Kerry will not be short of big support come next weekend and, all going according to plan, a rousing welcome home will await them on Monday night.

Kerry will be seeking to make it a magical dozen All-Ireland titles – their last was in 1993 – and they certainly have all the credentials required to make it happen this year.
