Fashion queen Áine wins a cool €800

ÁINE Wall was deemed a winner alright at Listowel Races on Sunday when she clinched the best dressed lady prize and walked away with a cheque for a cool €800.

The Derrymore East, Tralee fashion queen was wearing a headpiece by Laura Hanlon millinery and an A-line styled fitted red dress from Bamboo in Ardfert.

The first runner-up, Ann Marie Corbett, wore a wide-brimmed headpiece with summer strawberries by Carol Kennelly millinery and a two-piece burnt orange Bardot styled suit from Phoenix V. Her prize was €400 in cash.

Faith Amond, who was the second runner-up and received €200, wore a cream Louise Kennedy dress and cape and a Montgomery millinery headpiece.

Ladies’ day was judged by top fashion blogger, Helen Quealy Murphy – aka Daily Diva Diary – and all seven finalists received a gift bag from a local pharmacy.
