Former Kerry Group man leads new team

A RECENTLY retired Kerry Group executive, who was with the company for close on 40 years, will launch two new ventures at a Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town Exposé in Castleisland on Friday night.

Michael John Kearney is the driving force behind MJK+Associates which will provide business advisory and performance management enhancing services to the SME sector, through an associated group of subject matter experts in various fields.

Kearney will work with a number of former Kerry Group colleagues, including Finbarr O’Dricoll, Michael Wren, Pat Brosnan, John O’Brien and Padraic Coughlan, as well as sports and events management specialist, Dick O’Sullivan, and his brothers Christy, Marcus, Eamonn, Seamus and Adrian.

Also included on the team will be Caroline McEnery in human resources, John Drummey in public relations and experienced banking specialist Denis Kennedy.

The second venture, MJK+Associates Careers, aims to offer informed and practical advice to jobseekers.

Michael John Kearney is originally from Ballydesmond and now resides in Castleisland. He is the holder of two All-Ireland senior football medals – a club championship medal with Castleisland Desmonds in 1985 and an All-Ireland inter firm medal with Kerry Co-op in 1983.
