THE GAA in Kerry has made a special presentation to healthcare workers at University Hospital Kerry to say thank you for their remarkable work during the pandemic.

Representatives of the frontline workers have accepted a specially framed county jersey with a message of appreciation from the players, management and officials of Kerry GAA in recognition of their tireless work.

The presentation was made by Kerry County Board Chairman, Tim Murphy and the framed jersey was accepted by John Rice, orthopaedic consultant at the hospital.

“Our frontline workers are the real heroes in this global pandemic and this is a wonderful way to acknowledge them,” Tim Murphy said.
