Gardai seek coverage from scene of crash

GARDAI in Killarney are appealing to anybody that might have dash-cam footage or smartphone coverage of a serious crash on the outskirts of town on Sunday afternoon to get in touch.
The collision, between a car and a motorbike, occurred on the N71 between Torc Waterfall and the entrance to Muckross House and Gardens at around 2.15pm on Sunday.
A motorcyclist, aged in his 20s, was airlifted from the scene to Cork University Hospital. He has suffered serious injuries and, it is understood, he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the car and his passenger were not injured.
A technical examination of the scene has been carried out by garda forensic experts and gardai are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly those who might have camera footage, to contact them on 064-6671160.
