AFTER an absence of almost two years, the 2021 Rentokil Initial Killarney Historic Rally, organised by Killarney and District Motor Club, will go ahead on Saturday, November 27 and the official launch will take place this coming Sunday afternoon.

The formalities will take place the Gleneagle Hotel at 3.00pm and this year’s rally will be run under full Covid-19 guidelines in line with Government and Sport Ireland advice.

2018 Clerk of the Course, Martin Farrell, will once again take the lead role for the upcoming event with a high quality entry list anticipated.

“It has been a difficult and challenging two years for everybody and we are delighted to welcome back Rentokil Initial as title sponsors for the one-day event, with huge thanks to Mr Motorsport in Kerry Michael O’Mahoney,” said rally PRO Ivan Hurley.

Rally headquarters will once again be the Gleneagle Hotel – the title sponsors – and the event will be a counting round towards the 2022 Irish Tarmac Rally Championship and the Southern 4 Championship
