As music, culture and wellness celebrations go, it is something quite unique and that’s what places the annual ReWild Festival in Killarney at the top of many calendars.
This year’s party will be held on Saturday, July 12 in the enchanted woodlands of the old Dunloe golf course with the official opening ceremony timed for 1.00pm and it will be non-stop entertainment and enjoyment from then until the closing ceremony at 12.45am on Sunday.

Musical highlights on the various stages will include trad stars Jiggy, accomplished accordion player Damian Mullane, award-winning Dunlin singer Eoghan Ó Ceannibháinm, fiddler Clare Sands, Circus Ponies, Tailor Birds, Efa O’Neill, Chris Carey and Foxtales with some high energy DJs lined up through the day as well as some engaging talks from the likes of singer and instrumentalist Cait Ní Rian, Diarmuid Lyng who has dedicated his life to the presentation of Irish culture and sculpture conservator Eoghan Daltún.
Early Saturday morning will feature deep house yoga, interpretative dance, wild hurling and an introduction to breathwork.
Ther will be plenty of fun too for children including face painting, yoga, hoola-hoop and a nature hub while the always busy wellness area will include a soundbath, reiki and sound healing, an introduction to herbalism, neurographics and embodied restoration.
Silent discos for Palestine will be a feature of the festival while, for sports fans, the Kerry v Tyrone All-Ireland Championship semi-final will be screened.
