Those that appreciate the finer things in life were out in force in Killarney on Wednesday night for what has become one of the social highlights of the year in the town.

The annual Killarney Rotary Club evening of wine and art is always a huge lure and this year was no exception with a bumper attendance at the Great Southern Hotel.
Rotary President Ciara Irwin Foley and her dedicated and experienced team of volunteers ensured everything went according to plan and many of the artists who displayed their work reported very brisk demand and strong sales.
There was no shortage of fine wines and delicious cheeses on offer throughout the evening and there was a wonderful atmosphere at the venue with a great spirit of camaraderie as patrons admired the work on show and the company on offer.
