Killarney was a winner alright on the first and second days of the three-day MayFest meeting at the local racecourse where shirt-sleeved punters were treated to a feast of top quality racing, exciting finishes, glorious weather conditions and a real party atmosphere.
Killarney Racecourse Ambassador, former top jockey Bryan Cooper, was on hand to help steer punters on the right path and it all made for two great days of racing with another one to come this Tuesday.

Sunday was an all-jump racing card and the feature race was the exciting Tote Killarney National with 16 fences to jump won by 16/1 shot ridden by SF O’Keeffe for Willie Mullins who ended out the Racheal Blackmore piloted Gateau De Miel for Henry De Bromhead.
This Monday evening is again an all-jump affair and Tuesday will close MayFest in style on the flat with an action-packed card featuring race the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Race. The first race goes to post at 5.00pm and gates open from 3.00pm.
