UPDATE 3.15pm: Patrick Sheahan has been found safe and well
PEOPLE in Killarney have been asked to be on the lookout for an elderly man who has been missing from his home on Muckross Road since late last night.
Gardai said Patrick Sheahan, who is aged 88 and suffering from dementia, was last seen close to the Amber Filling Station on Muckross Road between 11.30pm and midnight.
He was heading in the direction of Killarney town when last spotted.
Patrick is believed to have been wearing a light brown trousers, a dark coloured jacket, a dark cap and black shoes.
Anybody that might have seen Patrick is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064-6631222 and any information would be appreciated.
