What promises to be an informative and fascinating public lecture on the history of Kerry Group will be hosted by the Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society on Tuesday next.
The talk will be delivered by Tony Bergin, president of the society, at Tralee Library at 7.00pm and it is open to members of the public.
The presentation, which was postponed from December due to adverse weather, marks the 50th anniversary of the formation of Kerry Co-operative Creameries in 1974.
“By coincidence, this lecture coincides with the announcement recently that Kerry Co-op will acquire the dairy and foods businesses of Kerry Group PLC in early 2025, another major milestone for both entities,” said Tony Bergin.
“I hope that anyone who is interested will come along and learn more about this iconic brand and one of the greatest success stories in the history of business in Kerry,” he said.
