Ivo scores a hole-in-one on club’s big day

Ross Golf Club Captain Johnny Brosnan is about to hand over the reins to Peter Wickham for 2025 but before this weekend’s annual general meeting he hosted the annual appreciation day for sponsors and volunteers.

The day started with some relaxed and enjoyable golf which was followed by food, drink and music, song and dance in the clubhouse.

It proved the club officials with a great opportunity to say thank you to the very generous sponsors and volunteers who are the lifeblood of the club.

One of the highlights of the day was a superb hole-in-one on the 10th hole by Ivo O’Sullivan which was celebrated later in the clubhouse.

The winning team was made up of Johnny Brosnan, Ivo O’Sullivan, John Ivory and Seamus McCarthy and the runners-up were Mike O’Leary, Elaine Casey and Terence Mulcahy
