IT’S almost time for the curtain call at the INEC as the Killarney Musical Society cast and crew prepare to bring their own unique version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat to local audiences on February 25, 26 and 27.
Final rehearsals are currently underway for the 35th annual production and the brilliant and colourful Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, with lyrics by Tim Rice, is sure to be a smash hit.
The musical society members will open a pop-up shop in the upstairs area of Noelle’s Café, Old Market Lane, Killarney for pre-sale tickets from Monday next, from 12 noon to 4.00pm daily.
As staging a musical can be a very expensive business, the organisers are also planning a fun table quiz in the Dromhall Hotel this Sunday afternoon, from 4.00pm, and everybody is invited with laughter, merriment and, perhaps, a song or two, in the pipeline.
“A very special word of thanks to our patrons who have forwarded their patronage to us for this year so far,” said society PRO Orna Cleary O’Shea.
“Without their support we would not be able to keep producing the calibre of show we love to bring to our audiences,” she added.
