Kerry Education Board Class of 2024 graduates

Over 100 apprentices and their families gathered in Killarney to celebrate their achievements, including a diverse group of graduates from 20 distinct apprenticeship programmes across various industries,

The Kerry Education and Training Board, in partnership with the boards in Limerick and Clare, hosted the gala event in the Great Southern Hotel, Killarney and apprentices honoured at the event represented a broad range of skills and professions, showcasing the wide array of career paths available.

Graduates completed apprenticeships in fields including agricultural mechanics, aircraft mechanics, brick and stone laying, carpentry and joinery, commis chef, construction plant fitting, electrical, electrical, hairdressing, heavy vehicle mechanics, mechanical automation and maintenance fitting, metal fabrication, motor mechanics, pipefitting, plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning, sheet metalworking, stonecutting and stonemasonry, toolmaking and vehicle body repairs.

One graduate, Conn James Marley, travelled from Canonsburg, Denmark, to attend the ceremony.

Having completed his apprenticeship with Keltic Heating in Tralee, Conn now works with Derg Services in Denmark, where he applies his skills on international projects.
