Kerry gets back on the Chain Gang

AS part of the national campaign aimed at promoting activity, mental wellbeing and staying connected during the Covid-19 crisis, Kerry County Council has launched an element of the wellbeing campaign called Let’s Get Kerry Cycling.

The initiative, which will commence on Friday, July 3 and it will run until Sunday, August 16, is building on the concept of doing something that makes people feel healthier and happier during the pandemic.

Kerry County Council, Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership/Sport Ireland and the Chain Gang Cycling Club have developed a programme of simple cycling themed activities, which are suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

The initiative involves a six-week programme comprising of six fun themed activities on a bicycle. To get involved, all sign up all details are on the sports partnership website www.kerryrecreationandsports.ie via Eventbrite.
