KERRY pitch and putt hotshots are competing in the delayed 2020 National Strokeplay Championships with the men playing in Cork and the ladies in Westmeath.

The championships were postponed last September due to the public Health situation at the time but go ahead now with the largest every Kerry contingent participating.

St Anne’s in Cork is hosting the juniors this Saturday and the seniors on Sunday while the St Stephen’s club will be hosting the intermediate men’s event this Saturday.

There are senior men from the county involved with Deerpark’s Damien Fleming and Castleisland’s James Dignan joining Tralee duo Jason Cregan and Alan Hobbart.

The intermediate grade will see Kerry represented by Deerpark’s Lorcan Martin and James Fleming, Tralee’s Michael Conway and Keith O’Brien, and Castleisland’s Timmy Looney and John Fitzgerald along with Newmarket’s Willie John Buckley.
