Tourism leaders, tech experts and innovators from throughout the country gathered at the RDI Hub in Killorglin for a first-of-its-kind tourism round table discussion exploring how artificial intelligence can help to transform the tourism sector.

The event featured presentations from CeADAR which is the national centre for applied AI and leading voices in tourism innovation including Stephen O’Sullivan of I Left You a Note, Ivan Tuohy of Great Visitor Experiences and Elaine Moyles of Fáilte Ireland.
The gathering was attended by representatives from Kerry hotels, tourism authorities, business start-ups and research institutions who discussed how AI can be used to personalise visitor experiences, optimise operations and future-proofing Ireland’s tourism offering.

Megan Daly-Tyrrell, Business Development Manager at the RDI Hub, remarked: “This is just the beginning. We hope to bring the tourism sector together regularly as we navigate the continuing advancements in artificial intelligence and we are here to support organisations at every stage of their AI journey”.
