Killarney swimmers make a major splash in Blackrock

A total of 19 Killarney Swimming Club members competed in a gala event in Douglas, Co Cork hosted by the Blackrock Swimming Club and they came home with 12 gold medals, nine silver, 10 bronze and some huge personal bests.

In other club news, the Munster Skills Academy continued training in UL at the weekend with Evan O’Donoghue training and Erin McNulty coaching in preparation for Inter-Provinicials in March.

The club is also preparing for the upcoming Munster Senior Schools Level 3 event in UL on  November 10 and the Munster Short Course Championships in UL on November 15-17.
