Launch of Killarney rally at the weekend

Killarney and District Motor Club will launch the 2024 Killarney Historic Rally this Saturday and it is already shaping up to be a thrilling event.

Over 70 historic cars have already entered for the November 30 rally and the organising team will announce some of the big-name entries at the launch which will take place at 4.00pm at the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa, the main event sponsors.

All club members, family, friends, and motorsport enthusiasts are welcome to attend.

Clerk of the Course, Anthony O’Connor, said year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than ever before, with a fantastic route that includes classic stages, including Moll’s Gap, Ballaghbeama, and Carragh Lake.

“We’re also excited to bring back the popular night stage, which adds an extra dimension to the rally,” he said.
