KILLARNEY Legion’s senior ladies’ squad and their management team are planning to embark on a major run to raise funds for the Kerry Hospice Foundation.
They will set off on a journey that will total a collective 250km and each player or coach has set themselves an individual target.
On May 30 the ladies hope to raise awareness as well as funds for Kerry Hospice Foundation which includes the palliative care unit in University Hospital Kerry as well as the specialist palliative community care service.
“We hope any funds raised will allow the service to continue the valuable work that they do and to help purchase specialist equipment,” said the club members involved.
They have set up a special social media page for donations and anything people can give, no matter how big or small, will be gratefully received.
