Fintan Coffey and Tadgh added further points but Ballydonoghue struck for a goal in the 18th minute of the half which gave them a two-point lead at half time 1-6 to 1-4. Fossa started well in the second half with two points from Fintan Coffeybut  Ballydonoghue kept the scoreboard ticking over also with points of their own.

In spite of the best efforts of Dara Rice and with further scores from Damien Dennehy, Colin Davidson, Lorcan Daly and Tadgh O’Shea, Fossa just could not get their noses in front and Ballydonoghue held on to win on a score of 1-12 to 1-11. It’s the talk of the town. To advertise call 087-2229761
