Over 30 live entertainment events will take place in Kerry in September with the support of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media’s local live performance programming scheme.
The performances, across the five municipal districts, will cater for all tastes and ages, with music, spoken word, dance and fire performances programmed at a variety of times, with most events free of charge.
On September 10, the Fabre Ensemble will present Spanish Renaissance choral masterpieces by Cristobal de Morales at St Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney while, the following day, Sliabh Luachra accordionist Bryan O’Leary will perform with Matt Griffin (guitar) and Mikie O’Gorman (fiddle) on at the ANAM Arts and Cultural Centre, Killarney.
Singer-songwriters and musicians Lorraine Nash (September 8) and Cathal Flaherty (September 13) will also perform in ANAM.
The Live in Killarney series will support the night-time economy. The solo performances, from 9.30pm to 11.30pm in the Gleneagle Hotel Ballroom will include:

To celebrate Culture Night on September 23, Muckross Schoolhouse, Killarney will host musicians Cormac Begley and Liam O’Maonlaí.
