As the 60th anniversary celebrations to mark the opening to the public of Muckross House draws to a close, a special concert was held in the famous property to celebrate the occasion at the weekend.
The event was hosted by Muckross House Trustees and performing in concert was renowned soprano and Irish harpist, Marina Cassidy and her group Ríochas.
It was a night of high quality entertainment and it was a most fitting way to celebrate six decades of success.
On the night thee Chairman of Muckross House Trustees, Marcus Treacy, presented outgoing Muckross House Manager, Denis Reidy, with a painting by the celebrated Irish painter and Killarney native, Sean O’Connor.
