THIS stunning image by award-winning Killarney photographer Valerie O’Sullivan captures the magic of Killarney National Park in all its glory.
It shows mute swans at the water’s edge at Muckross Lake during an incredible sunset and it proves, yet again, that Mother Nature doesn’t need a filter.
The large white swans, with distinctive orange-red bills, survive on water plants, which they can reach at depths of up to one metre with their long necks.
