THERE will be no Kerry v Cork Munster Senior Football Championship final for fans to look forward to next summer.
The big two in the province have been kept apart in the draw made this morning and, instead, they will clash in the semi-final of the championship.
Cork will be straining at the leash to have a shot at the All-Ireland finalists, particularly as the Rebels have won both the minor and under 20 All-Ireland titles this year and their senior squad have shown a dramatic improvement on previous years.
Peter Keane’s reigning Munster champions received a bye to the last four as did Cork who were beaten by Kerry in the 2019 provincial decider.
Clare, Tipperary, Limerick and Waterford will now have a great chance of making it to the provincial final where either Kerry or Cork will await.
In the quarter-finals, Waterford play Limerick and Clare meet Tipperary with the winners of those ties to meet in the other semi-final.
