Normal People heart-throb Paul Mescal is enjoying a visit to the county after spending a number of days last week in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.
Staff and customers in The Bianconi Inn in Killorglin were gobsmacked when the 24-year-old actor walked in the door on Tuesday night to enjoy dinner with friends.
The Bianconi posted a photograph on social media with the message: “So thrilled to have Paul Mescal dine with us last night. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip in the Kingdom!”

He happily posed for selfies with fans who could scarcely believe their luck to meet the actor with a big reputation.
