
An approved housing body paid over €15 million to purchase 48 new housing units from the developers to provide social housing in Killarney.
The latest statistics from the Residential Property Price Register reveal that the price of the transaction involving Co-Operative Housing Ireland was €15,131,947.4 for the units at Cronin’s Wood, at Upper Park Road, on the road to Spa in Killarney.
Co-operative Housing Ireland is an approved housing body providing high-quality homes to low-income households. As a representative body, it champions co-operative principles in delivering homes and supporting communities.
A total of 17 property transactions were completed during the month of May involving a total of €20,167,483.
The figures show there were 102 residential properties sold in Kerry in May.
