Two hotels from Killarney – and four overall from Kerry – have featured in the top 10 list of Best of the Best Hotels in Ireland as judged by Tripadvisor contributors.
The Killarney Park Hotel and the Muckross Park Hotel & Spa are both included in the selection which is based on the hotels with a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions over a 12-month period.
Tripadvisor said each winner has passed a very rigorous trust and safety standard.
Fewer than one per cent of Tripadvisor’s eight million listings are awarded Best of the Best status, signifying the highest level of excellence in hospitality and the lost features the spots travellers loved most, from the grand and luxurious to the quaint and charming.
The other Kerry hotels in the top 10 are the Meadownaldns Hotel in Tralee and Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa, also in Tralee, while the International Hotel and Earls Court House in Killarney and the Manor West Hotel in Tralee are featured in the top 20.
