THERE was further good news for Kerry this evening with confirmation that no new case of Covid-19 has been reported in the county for the fourth day in a row.
The number of people from the county infected with the virus remains at 308.
Nationally today, there were 11 additional deaths reported – one less than yesterday – and 115 new cases were confirmed which is 39 more than yesterday.
The number of fatalities from coronavirus in the country now stands at 1,592 and a total of 24,506 people have contracted the disease.
It was also confirmed today that people over the age of 65 have made up a whopping 90 per cent of Covid-19 related deaths.
This age group also accounted for more than 25 per cent of all confirmed cases of the virus.
