A much clearer picture of who is likely to succeed and who isn’t in the general election in Kerry is expected to emerge following the results of a highly anticipated constituency general election poll will be broadcast on Nuacht TG4 this Tuesday at 7.00pm.
TG4 has commissioned four individual constituency polls by leading market research company Ipsos B&A ahead of the general election.
The polls focus on the highly competitive five-seat constituencies of Donegal, Galway West, Mayo and Kerry, where a mix of incumbent ministers, sitting TDs and new candidates are vying for seats.
Prominent figures in these constituencies have announced they will not seek re-election, opening the field for new contenders and increasing the stakes.
Siún Nic Gearailt and panelists Seán Mac an tSíthigh and Dáithí de Mórdha will be live at 7.00pm on Tuesday from Scoil Dhún Chaoin in Kerry.
They will provide valuable insights into the voting trends and perspectives of Kerry voters in the lead-up to the election.
There will be 17 candidates on the ballot paper in Kerry on Friday including four of the five outgoing TDs, Michael Healy-Rae (Ind), Pa Daly (SF), Norma Foley (FF) and Danny Healy-Rae (Ind).
