Lauren Horgan, Cliona Murphy, Ava Doherty, Caoilinn O’Donoghue and Tara Murphy

The project, designed to promote the sport, was to give the girls a greater understanding of the game, the challenges faced by people with disabilities who wish to compete in sports and the enjoyment they can garner from it.

The transition year students from Killarney reached the final and after a great clash with Boherbue Comprehensive School, they triumphed by a single point to bring home the regional title and trophy.

The Pres girls will now be involved in he All-Ireland play-ff series in Dublin on March 14.
