Real thriller in store at Lewis Road

David Shaw notched the first of the three goals against Dingle

Dr Crokes and Castlehaven are evenly split with the bookies heading into this weekend’s Munster Club Championship clash in Killarney.

Castlehaven, the Cork back-to-back county championships, will be hoping that the trip to Killarney will be a worthwhile one and they are offered at even money to triumph at Lewis Road.

Dr Crokes will be hoping the home advantage will get the crowd on their side and following their crushing defeat of Dingle in the Kerry final – scoring three goals to kill off the tie – they will have a spring in their step heading into the clash.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “This will make for a thrilling watch for the neutrals, with Crokes not shy in front of goal but Castlehaven will know what a battle is in store playing in front of the Killarney faithful”.
