Red carpet treatment for school stars

Letting the folk in Hollywood do their own thing, St Francis Special School in Beaufort will present their own glittering Night at the OsKarS at the Gleneagle INEC Arena on Thursday, March 30.

All the favourite movies and celebrities will be gathered under one roof and the nominees are the teachers, the SNAs, the school secretary, the staff, the bus escorts, the parents and families and members of the children’s therapy team who all appear in seven different movies.

The stars will compete for a highly coveted OsKaR categories of best actor, best actress and best supporting actor.

The celebrity judging panel will include popular entertainers and TV personalities and an audience vote will be included on the night so dress up in that favourite evening gown, tuxedo or even try to copy that famous Sam Smith outfit.

Tickets are priced at €25 each and they can be purchased from the school staff, the school reception or via the email: [email protected] or sfss.ie.

The red carpet entrance to the show will be from 7.00pm and the show will start how at 8.00pm.
