THE public in Kerry has been urged to observe the advice and guidelines of the HSE and the health authorities with a renewed request to observe personal distancing guidelines both indoors and outdoors.
This follows a meeting of Kerry County Council management and politicians this morning to continue the coordination of the response to the Covid-19 public health emergency. The meeting observed personal distancing requirements and some participants joined the meeting by teleconference.
Signage is to be erected at a number of beaches and public amenities around the county in the coming days to remind people of the personal distancing requirements of two metres.
The meeting discussed ongoing business continuity planning for the provision of council services as the current public health emergency evolves.
To support efforts to limit the spread of Covid-19, the council is asking members of the public to communicate with its staff and services, as far as possible, by phone and email.
Full details of all of the council’s services are available on www.kerrycoco.ie and the council’s main contact number is 066-7183500.
