Kerry Rose Emer Dineen visited the Adapt Kerry Charity Shop to add her support to the Purple Rose event that will take place from 10am to 2pm on Saturday next.
Emer took time out from her very busy schedule to call in and meet staff and customers and she said, she wanted to support the event and help raise awareness of the charity shop.
She said she knows the important role it plays in supporting women and children across Kerry who live with domestic violence and coercive control.
She also took the opportunity to thank all the staff and volunteers who, in turn, were delighted to welcome Emer.
The Kerry public can support the event and the work of Adapt Kerry Women’s refuge and support services by donating to the shop on Matt Talbot Road, Tralee.
