KILLARNEY Rugby Club’s minis return to action for the new season next Saturday. Training will take place for both boys and girls aged between five and 11 years of age. All previous and of new players are more than welcome and learn to play rugby in a fun environment where enjoying the game and learning new skills will be the focus.

Training takes place between 10.30am and 12 noon at our pitches in Aghadoe. Gum shields are essential. For any queries please contact our Minis Coordinator Liam Murphy on 087-4145662.

Youths: KRFC youths also recommence training this week, with our under 14s returning to training next Saturday also. Training will take place between 10.30am and 12 noon. Please contact John O’Connell for details on 086-8525116.

Training for under 16s takes place on Wednesdays at Aghadoe at 6.30pm and players can contact Tom Campbell on 087-2657994 for information while our under 18’s training also takes place on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. Pat F O’Connor is the contact for all under 18 queries on 087-2318914.

Seniors: Killarney RFC seniors are already well into their preseason training. They travel to Tralee RFC to take part in the annual Moss Keane Cup next Sunday. The Moss Keane is a pre-season 10-a-side tournament for all of the Kerry rugby clubs and promises to be good run out for all involved.

Fundraising: Thanks to everyone who took time to shake the buckets last Wednesday around town. Thanks to the very generous Killarney public who very kindly supported our flag day.
