He made the journey all the way from the North Pole at the weekend to see the hotel’s magnificent 30-foot-tall Christmas tree which is one of the most spectacular must-see attractions every Christmas in Killarney.

Santa also turned on the on the Christmas lights and met the children, big and small, to hear their special wish-lists for Christmas.

The Gleneagle Concert Band perform all the favourite Christmas tunes and there were tasty treats, hot chocolate and great surprises for everybody.

The party is organised in aid of St Vincent de Paul and anyone who wished to donate to the worthy cause were invited to make a donation on the day.
