OVER 30 employees at the Muckross Park Hotel and Spa in Killarney have been honoured by management for their length of service and dedication.
Employees were awarded for loyal service lasting over five, 10 or 15 years and each recipient was presented with a crystal trophy. Those employed there for 10 years or more also received a voucher for a two-night stay in a luxury hotel.
General Manager, Seán O’Driscoll, thanked the team for their outstanding dedication.
“The success of Muckross Park Hotel and Spa is owed to the dedication of the team,” he remarked.
Mr O’Driscoll noted that this year alone the hotel has won four awards – the Restaurant Association award for Kerry’s best hotel restaurant, the overall supreme award and the gold medal in the five-star category at the accommodation awards and, just last week, the Pevonia Destination Spa of the Year award.
“None of these awards would have been possible without you. Thank you for your hard work and dedication – you should all be very proud,” Mr O’Driscoll told staff.
Banqueting Manager, Niall Tangney, and Food and Beverage Supervisor, Chris O’Sullivan, were recognised for the longest length of service and both have worked at the Muckross Park Hotel and Spa for over 15 years.
Management and award recipients enjoyed a drinks reception followed by a three-course meal and entertainment at the hotel.
